The 24 month Parmigiano Reggiano cheese is famous all over the world, to be consumed by itself or as an ingredient in many dishes.
It has a very intense aroma and its flavour is unique, with touches of spices and dried fruit.
The rind of the Parmigiano Reggiano is hard, smooth and branded. The texture, called grana, is grainy and crumbly with a straw-yelow colour verging to ivory.
