Our History
Zaino is a certified company leading in quality food trade for both restaurants and hotels. It is conveniently located at the foot of the Euganean Hills. Zaino has been making supplies to restaurants in Northern Italy and beyond for over 30 years that we have been in service.
The company was established in 1982 by Italo Zaino and reflects a strong family business that has undergone significant structural and organizational management reforms. Currently, the company is run by Italo’s son Rocco Zaino. It has an ample warehouse space of 7,440sq m that is managed by a radio frequency system. Besides, it is equipped with a cold store for fresh and frozen foods and has a large butcher facility.
In 2014, the company successfully expanded its services to Thailand, forming Zaino Food Thai, which operates in Bangkok, Phuket, Kho Samui, Khao, Lak, Pattaya, and Krabi. These places cover some of the most essential tourist attractions that are the leading importers of Italian food. We feel very proud of the fact that we have created a real link between Italy and Thailand.
In 2019, our dream to offer our clients a new product-service that guarantees a high level of culinary pleasure was finally realized. Zaino Gourmet makes excellent dishes from Italian cuisine's highest standards providing a perfect solution for restaurants. We offer ready-made fresh and frozen meals prepared manually by our chefs to guarantee our dishes' best quality.
